painted to make a birthday card for a loved one.

this was a first attempt at using watercolours to paint a little creature.

intentional, rather than something popping out of an abstract background.

i'm still finding it hard to get used to these paints.

but enjoying the unpredictability of them too.

so, i didn't hold much hope when i started this.

but was pleasantly surprised with the finished little earthy beast.

and my partner loved him.

good feelings.
